A Paphos Wedding Planner, At Home In Paphos

Local expertise. International standards. A calm, hands-on team.

Marry Me Cyprus has been planning weddings from Paphos since 2009. Our head office, styling warehouse and showrooms are all within a short drive of Paphos Old Town, which means we see every venue in person — often several times a month — and know exactly how the light falls on each terrace at golden hour.

Couples come to us because they want a Paphos wedding that feels intentional, not template. We plan fewer weddings per year than most agencies, which means your lead planner is on-site, reachable, and genuinely invested. From your first introductory call through to the final supplier being paid, the same small team is with you.

Why Paphos

The most varied wedding destination in the Mediterranean.

Weather you can trust

Around 320 days of sunshine a year and almost no rain between May and October. You can plan an outdoor ceremony with confidence, knowing the sky will almost certainly deliver.

One-island logistics

Paphos airport sits 15 minutes from most of our venues, guests stay in resorts along the same coastal strip, and suppliers — florists, photographers, musicians — are all local. It makes for the easiest guest experience we plan anywhere.

Style range, not sameness

Within a 40-minute drive you can marry on a golf-course terrace, inside a 16th-century monastery, on a private beachfront, in a stone-built country estate, or against the dramatic limestone arches of the Sea Caves. No two Paphos weddings need look alike.

How We Work

A considered process, not a checklist.

Every wedding is different, but the rhythm of how we plan is reliably the same. Four clear phases, each with a named lead, each with transparent deliverables.

01

Discovery

A first call to understand your vision, numbers, budget range and the feeling you want guests to leave with. We come back with two to four venue options matched to your brief — not a catalogue, a shortlist.

02

Design

Venue secured, we build a bespoke design direction: palette, florals, tablescape, paper, music, movement. You see mockups, fabric swatches and supplier proposals — no guesswork, no mystery invoices.

03

Delivery

The operational phase. We hold every supplier relationship on your behalf, chase every detail, build the run-sheet and run a full walk-through in the week before the wedding.

04

Day Of

Your planner arrives at first light and leaves after the last song. Everything you have imagined, executed quietly and beautifully, so you can be fully present.

From the moment we had our official meeting with Katie at MMC, I felt completely at ease. It was clear that our wedding was in great hands, and I knew I could just show up on the day and trust her to bring my vision to life.

Frequently Asked

Planning a Paphos wedding — the practical bits.

Six answers to the questions we get asked most often. Anything else on your mind, we reply to every enquiry personally within 24 hours.

How far in advance should we book a wedding planner in Paphos?

Most couples start their Paphos wedding planning 12-18 months ahead, particularly if they want peak-season Saturday dates (May, June, September and early October book the fastest). For elopements and micro-weddings we can comfortably plan in as little as 8-10 weeks, and for short-notice bookings we frequently turn around a beautiful day inside 4-6 weeks when documents allow.

Do you handle the legal paperwork for a Paphos civil wedding?

Yes. Through our Legal Assistance service we guide you through the Paphos Town Hall civil marriage process end-to-end — document checklists (birth certificates, apostilled paperwork, decree absolutes where relevant), the Notice of Marriage booking, and the order of ceremony. Couples marrying at a licensed Paphos venue can choose a civil registrar on-site so the legal and celebratory ceremony are one and the same.

What is the typical budget for a Paphos destination wedding?

Paphos is one of the more accessible destinations in the Mediterranean. Elopements and micro-weddings start from around €3,500 all-in. Mid-sized celebrations for 40-80 guests typically land between €12,000 and €28,000 depending on venue, season and styling. Larger luxury weddings at exclusive-hire estates commonly sit between €40,000 and €80,000. We build a tailored budget early in the process so every decision is transparent.

Which venues do you recommend for a wedding in Paphos specifically?

Paphos has the widest venue variety on the island. For country estates we love L'Chateau in Tala and Liopetro in Kouklia; for sea-view modern architecture, Alassos and OZEA; for golf-estate grandeur, Elea Estate and Minthis Hills; for traditional Cypriot charm, Vasilias Nikoklis Inn; and for dramatic natural backdrops, Paliomonastiros monastery ruins and the White Cliffs at Sea Caves. We match venue to guest count, style and season rather than defaulting to a single favourite.

When is the best time of year to get married in Paphos?

Paphos enjoys around 320 days of sunshine per year. Our most popular months are May, June, September and the first half of October — warm without the midsummer heat, long golden evenings, and reliable blue skies. April and late October are beautiful for smaller weddings and carry more favourable venue pricing. July and August are hot but still perfectly workable for couples who plan sunset ceremonies and shaded reception spaces.

Do you travel to the venue on the day, or coordinate remotely?

We are physically present on every wedding day we plan. Your lead planner (or a member of our senior coordination team) is with you from morning preparation through to the first dance, managing suppliers, timings and every small detail so your family can genuinely switch off and enjoy the celebration.
